Not sure about specific names, but thought I'd add my two cents for you to consider based on my experience as an owner of numerous pets.
Keep it simple.
I went through several 'baby name books' when I got my first cat, and drove myself crazy with it. Since then (14 y/o) I have seen that a simple, cute name would have most likely been more appropriate, and the name that I chose ended up not being used and instead we have called her a variety of nicknames and have never really used her 'well thought out' original name.
Make it happy, cute and one syllable!
Having a cheerful name repeated dozens of times per day is a good thing for any household. Also, this requires that the name be easy to say, and simple for the pet to understand. This has been a good thing in our house. My son named his dog. It took him about 1 minute after we picked him up from the dog pound to name him, and the name was simple, one syllable easy to use and understand.
Don't overthink it, base it on existing or desirable qualities of the pet.
You'll drive yourself nuts if you overthink the name, and if you get too complicated it may not accurately fit the pet you are naming.
Hope this helps!!

Why would you name a male dog like a member of a boy band or something? Dog names should indicated their personality. Like, if I had a big, ugly, smelly, and yet lovable pooch i would name him "Strawberry" or "Barnes" after that guy in Plattoon.
A friend of mine has a female boxer he named "Lucha" or wrestler in spanish.
I'm a firm believer that dogs shouldn't get people names whatsoever. I have a fiesty chihuahua I named Achilles.

Sony (for the girl) and Bagel (for the boy).
Yeah, I'm the queen of "interesting" pet names.
Right now I have a dog named Kojak, a fem. cat named Patches, and a boy cat who has no name after all this time because we cannot agree. I was calling him Gallagher, but now it's Ichabod or bust!

I currently have a female named Jin (it's a Japanese name that fits) and I'd like to name the male I'll eventually get Tonik (probably Nik for short, and the combination for humorous reasons) if the name suits him. It's difficult pre-choosing names though; they don't always work for the animal you get.

I like those names, because they are VERY ORIGINAL AND UNIQUE! I have a girl dog right now names KJ, but another girl would be Bailey, and the guy would be Tanner. I like both of those names!
