add a supercharger or a turbo. Money isn't a problem, I just want to know which one gives me the most performance. Thanks.

If money isn't a problem, then you should get rid if it and buy a car that is already forced feed from the factory such as Subaru STI, Mitsu Lancer EVO, Ford Saleen to name a few. It is better to start with a fast car and make it even faster.

But if you want to keep the car then a turbo would definitely give you the most performance. Supechargers really isn't practical for small displacement engines. It has to much parasitic draw because it is driven with a belt which is driven by a pulley. The only advangtage it has is constant boost which means it does not have boost lag which is common on most turbo setup.Turbo on the other hand is what they call "free horsepower" The reason why is because it is driven by exhaust gas which is expelled by your engine.

If you decide to turbo your car, determine how much horsepower you want to acheive, budget, and what you are going to use the car for(daily driver, drag, road course) I would upgrade some internal parts in the engine such as forge pistons and rods. Buy a reputable turbo kit from a reputable performance shop and ask them if they dyno tune also. One of the main components in having a reliable, dependable turbo car is having it tuned specifically for your setup.

The main difference between supercharger and turbo is this:
the first runs from an accessory belt like an alternator while the second - from exhaust gas flow. In practical terms, supercharger has a better response time because it's always spinning while a turbo unit needs time for exhaust flow to kick in.

Free horsepower? Interesting comment - what could you get for free? How about burnt valves & warped cylinder heads. Adding a turbocharger to an engine that was never ENGINEERED for all that heat is like setting you hair on fire to look cool. You'll only do that once.
Thake notice to what Chevrolet engineers did

The 205-horsepower all-aluminum dual overhead cam, four-cylinder engine is built off the strengths of the original, naturally aspirated 2.2L ECOTEC engine.

The Eaton M62 supercharger spins at a low rpm, which improves durability and creates less noise while allowing for plenty of top-end power delivered instantaniously. Maximum boost of the supercharger is 12 psi.

Notice the word durability - that why engineering school is so expensive.
