ok people.. i don't want ya to think thati am a bad parent.. but this is my first puppy.. but my bf told me that our sewer broke yesterday and the puppy drank a little bit... and she threw up i thought twice in the middle of the night, but 3 times.. but she seems ok... just laying around though.. i got her parvo shot already.. and i don't take her away from the house.. do you think that her drinking that caused it.. the vet did not sound like it was that big of a deal.. but my question is.. do you think it would be ok for me to wait till later today or tomorrow morning to see if she feels better and if not then take her.. or should i go right now...

Take her now to the vet. There is sooooooo much bacteria in sewer water, and puppies are so susceptible to illnesses, that it could be very serious. Please do not wait, and take her in right away, so the vet can put her on antibiotics. I hope she'll be ok.

If you already called the vet and they sounded like it was fine, then it's probably ok. If the puppy continues to act like this in a day, I would take her to the vet.

If vet seems to think she ok then watch her. Me personally I would get a second opinion. There are alot of diseases in human feces that dogs can get. Better safe than sorry. Hope she is ok. Not a bad parent, accidents happen to the best of us, no matter how safe we try to be.

You already mentioned that you talked to your vet so if the vet doesn't seem concerned then he must think that it just needs to work itself out of your puppies system. If she still is throwing up and is not acting herself, give the vet another call. I'd rather be safe than sorry.
I hope she starts feeling better soon...

If the Vet wasn't that worried , just keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't start running a temp,Over 101 and that she starts drinking Her water and eating soon. If not, it's vet time.Remember dogs do eat poop and they aren't picky about clean water.

Give her a chance to get over it on her own. Let her rest and see how she feels in the morning. Dogs are very resilient. You've got your vet's opinion; go with it.

Sewers are DIRTY and gross. Take her to the vet now just in case! I would rather be safe than sorry!
And don't give her any medicine unless the vet tells you to. It can wind up hurting her even more.

if she doesnt show any symptoms like bad then she is ok....if you see something weird then take her to the vet as soon as possible...my dog died 2 days ago for poison on a frog so take care of your little puppy please

AUUUUUUGGGGGHHHH! SEWER??? Take your dog to the vet and give her 1/2 a tsp. of Kaopectate or Pepto Bismol to help her tummy!

If she is eating normally & going to the bathroom normally I would give it until tomorrow & if she's still not better take her in.
