92: The horn. Use only while your vehicle is moving and you need to warn other road users of your presence. Never sound your horn aggressively. You MUST NOT use your horn

while stationary on the road
when driving in a built up area between the hours of 11.30 pm and 7.00 am
except when another vehicle poses a danger.

Your horn is a warning device and must only be used for that purpose. (Road Traffic Acts)

1) For twats in 7 series BMWs and X5s to remind everyone they own the road.

2)For white van man to tell you he owns the road.

3) For idiots at traffic lights or roundabouts to tell you to pull away, especially when someone is crossing in front of you.

4) For other idiots wanting traffic to just disappear in gridlock conditions.

5) For any other moron to use when they feel like it cos they think driving is a right not a privelidge

6) For fat or lazy people picking up friends etc cos they're too fat or lazy to walk 10 steps to a door and press a button.

7) For women in 4x4s to use when they cut you off (while talking on a mobile)

8) As 7 but applying make up

9) For white van man and boy racers to use when passing women and schoolgirls.

10) To be directed at any pedestrian who has the cheek to take more than 3 seconds to cross the road.

Well now, aren`t you a little teaser, ahem.
I use my horn gladly and quite enthusiastically, when female drivers and pedestrians catch my eye for one reason or another, usuallly because they are about to catch my car with their proposterously oversized buttocks or their badly piloted shopping cart. Other times I may just use my horn to make them jump and see how they wobble.

The horn is used to warn others of your presence.

It should not be used in a built up area between 11pm and 7am except in emergency.

It is not for lazy taxi drivers to say 'I am waiting for you'.

To notify others of danger. I also use it to let people know that the light is green, and to hang up the cell phone and go.
To notify people that you are there, and I don't mean sitting in somebody's driveway and honking for the othere person to come out. If my daughters BF did that, then I was the one out of the door and then we had a discussion about etiquette and the proper way to respect his date. (and if he did it again there would be no date)

1. When some git is asleep at the wheel, and waking him up would be a good idea.
2. When some git decides to back up, and you're right behind him with no way out.
3. When some git is on his phone, nearly misses you, and doesn't even notice.
