Well you will probably get the pat answer of socialist/communists who killed the religious because of their religious beliefs. But that will be a flat out lie, Stalin and Mao killed not because of peoples religious beliefs, but because those people opposed their authority and where a threat to their regime. Had nothing to do with atheist against religion.

Shall we start with all the violence committed by the Russian communist in the name of atheism, or the murders and mutilations of the atheist Chinese government? How about the butch performed by the Vietcon at the fall of Siagon, or the starvation of people in North Korea? Shall we add the violence of Castro on the people of Cuba?
That is just in the last 50 -60 years.
All done in the name of atheism.

I am sure there are instances. But being an atheist is an individual decision whereas a religion deals with a group. Right now the current global upheaval we see deals with and is rooted in monotheism which is the belief in one God. By the way I actually think Deism is the way to go!

Many of the more depressing stories in the history of the Soviet Union had their basis in atheism as the state "religion" power-tripping various believers. I'm sure there have been other issues with "godless communism" in China, Cuba, and South America. But communism was the one big experiment in atheists trying to squash theism. Note that the experiment is a failure. Even a great many Chinese and Cubans admit that. Was it because of theism, or because communism simply does not work as an economic program? Who knows? Fact is, it failed.

The violence of death from natural causes without resurrection. Well it would appear that all who bite on this idea suffer the loss of an eternity with no death, no pain no sorrow.
So I would have to say all atheists suffer a violence of their own choosing, but God gives them the right to choose death and loss of eternity.

Atheists kill people all the time. what makes you so sure that they are any better than anybody else. Get real. Look at the communist countries under atheism, they killed people all the time for going against the government or other crimes. This idea that atheist don't commit murder or other horrendous crime is full of baloney. Their motives may be different but murder is murder to the guy who got killed. Be sensible.

It is not seen or reported like that. If an athiest committs murder, its jsut murder. Noone sees that if this person knew God and believed in Him, there would have been no murder. But , if someone claiming to be Chrsitian committs murder, then its like oooh man, a christian did this. why is that/ the devil doesnt want us to know God or His word or the love that it brings and when a Chrsitian committs murder, let me tell you this. They only wear a christian label, because Chrsitains know not to murder anyone. WE can kill in self defesne if there is not other way, and we can go to war to keep our right to worship the God of our choice, but we cant murder anyone. God says to not murder anyone A christian is one that believe in God and HIs word and knows the must obey it. the rest just wear the label. God says we know them by their fruits.. actions So if one is going contrary to Gods word they arent Christian. But the media will sure jump on it. Why not report that a murder was committed by an athiest? Pretty one sided, huH? you dont really hear of Christians committing murder, cuz they dont. you only hear of somoene that claimined Christianity as committing murder. big difference. remember, by the fruits, ACTions, WE WILL KNOW THEM. i REST MY CASE...

Havent you ever read about the history of Russia? And how they treated so many minorities with disgust?
Then you should do a bit of history check then.
People migrated all over the place because of their illtreatment of muslims and other minorities.

None that I know of. Communists killed people in the name of communism. Religious people were often viewed as enemies of the new order and were targetted by atheist leaders but it was the political struggle that motivated the killing.
