Yes , I can't love my enemies in my own strength it's the love of God abiding in me that allows me to love my enemies . If anyone doesn't have enemies it's because their not doing what God has called them to do concerning His Word. Jesus had enemies , and the same thing goes on right to day and all He wants to do is demon strait the love he has for us. Only the devil hates what is good. Jesus said if the world hates you know that it hated me first.People who blend in with the world will not have enemies choose to stand out for Jesus and stand firm on His Word and see if you have enemies because you don't compromise sin. Love the sinner but hate sin tell your friend the truth, seek righteousness.Though Jesus Christ

No, I don't. But I don't believe in hating them, either. If I consider someone my *enemy* (which is a very strong word, by the way), I just remove them from my life. I don't feel anything towards them whatsoever.

No. But for the life of me, I can't think of even *one* enemy. Enemies are for the (literal) battlefield, and if they're shootin', then I'm not likely to love.

Yes.

Hate and the dehumanization which comes with hate causes wars to last longer and be more bloody than they would be otherwise.

Killing your enemy because he has done something to make him your enemy is one thing. But killing your enemy because you hate him is wrong.

Do Christians? This is supposedly a "Christian Nation" and I've seen no evidence that we love any of our enemies.

Huh?

Dude, we're not christians.........I do however consider basic human rights to be an important aspect of preserving our humanity.

It's interesting that every time I bring up capital punishment (something I abhor) here, the christians mostly seem to say "let em hang".
