Do I require more calories because of my extended day? I am active and work out 2 hours daily. I am not overweight, just maintaining my weight.

I feel that if I don't count calories, then I will eat more than I should and gain weight. Would this be considered OCD? I do count over and over all day with the fear that I overdid it. Maybe I need help, and did not realize it.

2 hours is excessive for exercising. Do you have OCD? Most healthy people don't count calories, they just try to get 5 servings of fruits & veg and a little bit of protein.

After reading what you added, I think it is possible that you are obsessed. Is it possible for you to ask a doctor about that, and maybe get a referral to counseling before it gets worse or starts to take over your life? Good luck to you dear.

Well, because of your long hours, yes, you proabably need more calories....

Plus, to keep your metabolism going you need to eat every 2-4 hours.....so if you are up 18 hours....that is at least 6 meals and snacks a day!
