In my opinion.... Love is without condition! Unconditional love, essentially means Love with no strings attached.By that I mean,When you tell someone you love them, you love love them just the way they are.And wouldnt change a thing about them.If someone were to say.."I Love You" But now your committed to me! That would be a conditional love. When most people say"I love You" and mean it!! There are never any expectations that the person they love say it back in return nor promise a deeper committment. It is just something that happens when love is mutual.
In this day and age, there is nothing certain about love. But, when someone tells you that they love you...Its pretty certain they are committed to you.Abiding they are not the type of guy mentioned in the above posts.!

Too many people use "I love you" too casually these days. If I say those words to someone other than family or friends, I'm saying I will always respect you, care for you and cherish you. I will not intentionally do anything to hurt you. I will not cheat on you. I will always be there for you and be supportive. You are a very important part of my life and I'm very thankful that I can share my life with you.
Needless to say, those three words have not been spoken often in my life. I don't take my feelings lightly.

There is only one really BIG commitment and that is that you will always be there for that person for when the the sun is shining or when they are having a bad day. To be there with your ups and downs. Other than that there is really nothing else.

There is no commitment. It is a simple statement of fact, an expression of feeling.

knowing that your gonna be there for them from good times to bad. You care so much about them, that you'll do anything for them. You'll protect them not only physically, but emotionally. You have trust in one another. Nothing can come in between the love.

There is no commitment in saying it, unless you're saying it to your child or another family member or a close friend. If you're just saying it casually, it really doesn't mean anything.

I think it's just to let the other person know that you are serious about them and that you really care for them. Saying I love you makes it kind of secure.

That by thick and thin, straws to bricks you will be having me beside you in moment of happiness and sadness without any exploitation of our feelings and respect physically and mentally.
