My screensaver won't work What's wrong?

The windows XP screensaver will not come on after a minute. It seems to only function after I have clicked on the preview button, then it works I don't know what I can do to correct the problem.

If all of your settings are correct from the screensaver dialog, then you probably have some type of application running in the fore/background that is preventing the screensaver from interpretting system inactivity.
