The best brand of Boxing shoe out there right now in my opinion, is also the most expensive and that's Mizuno that can purchased through Winning USA.com These shoes are the favorites of the Klitschko Brothers, Marquez Brothers, Marco Antonio Barrera and Eric Morlaes to name a few.

The flatter and thinner the sole the better. It will give you more push from your feet. Giving you a stronger punch. I've actually used a pair of ladies cheerleading shoes called Adidas Prajna. They worked great.

There is really no difference in shoes just try them all out and which ever one feels more comfortable go for it..

I like Everlast classics for boxing.
I use Converse Hi Tops cross-trainer for jumping rope.
