Is there anywhere I can get a free grant cd? I want to get a grant for a community college. Any information will be very useful. Thanx!!!!

First, you need to fill out a free application for federal student aid (FAFSA) which is available online. This application determines if you are eligible for federal and state grants. Also, try your local library. It should have tons of books/resources on student aid for college.

You do not need a free grant CD to locate government grants to attend a community college because the form is located on the web. It is free to apply. However, the grant money you receive is based on your family's income and savings. The individual college student's income and savings are considered at a higher rate than the parents if the college student does not meet the indpendent student checklist standards (6 questions).
