There are a number of ways the Bible is used in services. First, when hymns or praise songs are sung, the text often comes from the bible. Then the preacher will refer to a particular passage for the message and using that story or passage, he will compare it to our daily life and help us to follow our faith more closely. Sometimes, a reading will be said by the preacher and the congregation as an antiphonal reading. The preacher will say one verse and the people the next and so on. In Sunday school, we take scripture and learn about it more in-depth. We will discuss it in a small group setting. Hope that helps.

It is used through the daily Gospel reading and through music that is sung during the service (songs written using the text of Psalms and Passages found in the Bible).

The same as it is used the other 6 days of the week. I belong to a church that has Mass 7 days a week. We praise God every single day, not just on Sunday

I know people with bad knees who use it to kneel on when praying. They say it's much more comfy than the floor.

Sometimes noisy flies and bumble bees spoil the sermons so you can use the Bible to swot them.
