other than the occasional taste, when i was 16 i decided to get drunk for the first time with my boyfriend....i drank half a bottle of jim beam. that night i got naked and peed all over the new carpet and then passed out in my own vomit. At least he put me in the shower and washed my hair for me...what a night of romance!
at least i know how to hold my liquor now!

I was about 7 when I had "my own glass". My family believes that it is okay to give the children alcohol in small amounts when it's holiday time. Wine coolers were my starting point. Year after year, I graduated to stronger things - Seven/Sevens, Rum and Coke, Old Grandad on the rocks, etc.
BUT my first experience w/ alcohol was probably when I was three or four. I was a curious toddler. I was always sticking my little nose where it didn't belong. My dad was drinking a beer one summer day and I begged him for a sip and he gave it to me.
I didn't start drinking recreationally until college, believe it or not!

I drank some Hard Cider when I was 16. I didn't finish it because I felt guilty about it. Over the years, I occasionally had mixed drinks with my sister. I began drinking regularly at the age of 21.

Five. It's typical in my family for the children to enjoy a small glass of wine with dinner. But I started drinking recreationally when I was 15.

Probably about 6 years old. My parents allowed me a teeny glass of red wine with dinner to help me learn appreciation of wine. And my mother would let me have a glass of chardonnay after church on Sundays when I was about 15. But as far as partying, that was 18 when I went to college.

technically 4 or 5 with the occassional sip, but 12 years old with my brothers footballbuddies. They made me crush the beer cans on my forehead after chugging. Ah the good ole days, oh im late for AA

The first time I ever got drunk was when I was 13 and I drank 3 40's of Old English (yuck!) haha...

14 , from a very small country town , nothing else to do!.
I have found that I have mellowed earlier - proabably becasue of early binge drinking. I am 22 and allready a nana!!!
