JWs like Jell-O without blood. They also prefer it to have a high calcium content.

JWs go around trying to convert people so that they can be friends with them. The Watchtower Society teaches JWs that their "friends" are other members of the Society. In other words, they hope to become friends with you, and since they can't go against the Watchtower, they want to make you a part of it. It's all out of love.
Holidays: The Bible never says not to celebrate holidays, but the JWs say that since Herod happened to do something evil on his wife's birthday, that means that birthdays are evil. Any holiday that is pagan in nature is also evil. Any holiday that is national in origin is also evil because you can't have allegiance to anything or anyone but God. That is why they also can't salute the flag or recite the pledge of allegiance (or sing the national anthem, put their hands on their heart, etc.)

To get them to go away, you will just need to expose yourself to them. I have done it three times and it has worked every time.
If you don't like that idea, you can tell them that you are an excluded JW from another state who commits adultery and fornication and that you don't want to repent. They will stop trying to convert you and leave immediately. They will probably even pray for you.

Birthday or holiday celebrations were rarely instituted by God (except the Jewish feasts and the sacrament), and are seen by JWs as evil (see above).
Many pagans, however, had celebrations or holidays that were innocent in nature and had nothing to do with idols or anything else.

If they are right and everyone else is wrong, then God has played a mean trick on everybody, because the same control tactics that the Watchtower uses were also used by Hitler. JWs will get mad about that, but psychologically speaking, they are almost identical.

Against Mohawks and extreme styles in both genders.
They think Jesus was crucified on a post instead of a cross, even though the Roman tradition was the cross. They have interpreted the "hung Him on a tree" verse a little incorrectly.
They are pacifist in ALL settings, and since God will send Jesus to create a Holy Government, they don't recognize worldly governments as authoritative. Any time the JW teachings contradict the natural law, they are not supposed to question them and follow the JW traditions blindly, regardless of the legal ramifications. It is principally for this reason that nearly all European Union countries list the JWs at the top of the "List of Cults".

Do you have a link to the official government websites for thier lists of cults????
Have you actually learned ANYTHING about us before coming up with your "answers"???
Why aren't you answering queries about your own beliefs instead of giving wrong answers about the beliefs of others??
I notice you didn't answer the Q about whether you were a Witness or not. Why? Are you worried people will question your take on our beliefs since you don't seem to know them????
Ok, here is my question about Jehovah's Witnesses. Why, if you do not agree with our beliefs, are you missrepresenting them???
PS I HATE Jello:D
As to your claim about why we preach. You are partially right. We want to share the Bible with others. Consider, if you had a really good stock tip, who would you want to share with first, strangers, or friends and family?? The reasoning is the same.

Re-determine or Re-suppose my religion from questions about right here? By Re-considering I feel that you're looking to ask if I have possibly misplaced trust or believe in my religion and what I were taught for the reason that of a few query or accusation in this website. The reply is: Not quite. I do not take any questions or any accusations at face significance, both from Witnesses haters or Witnesses themselves. I will examine questions and examine them severely towards the Bible if I do not know the solutions. I additionally like to make use of historic, contextual, and linguistic proof to pass judgement on the validity of assertions made in questions, each for Witnesses and non-Witnesses But it simply so occurs that among the questions right here directed AGAINST Jehovah's Witnesses are both headquartered on both wrong premises main to fake conclusions or are simply undeniable biased, slanted and hate stuffed, and now not priceless of great attention. While however, I've visible countless questions wherein the Witnesses are just about the one ones honestly looking to supply truly proof and reply the query, at the same time the anti-Witnesses are so busy attacking and insulting the Witnesses and the WBTS, that they look to disregard the query fully or now not supply any truly proof in any respect. This is why I part with the Witnesses. They simply have larger high-quality solutions and extra proof helping their arguments. Although, getting again on subject, I do take into account a minimum of one million query that I feel got here from the Greek and Coptic Translator involving the calculations at the date of production for guy. He instructed that during precise MSS, there have been additional names further in a few genealogies, that means that guy might be calculated as being over 7000 years ancient, as an alternative of simply 6000. Now that one did make me suppose =)

Yes I have a question for you -
What do you think you'll be shouting out when
Revelation 19:17-21 is fulfilled (at Armageddon)?
-------------------------
Since you didn't answer them all - I'll answer a few, properly
Tarkettle -
(a) Matthew 7:13,14 - The road leading to life is narrow & few are the ones finding it.
(b) Because your cousin shows appreciation for what God provides.
Ray T -
Psalm 83:18
2 Corinthians 4:3,4
dlinn333-
It wasn't just that bad things happened on the birthday celebrations but also that birthdays were only celebrated by pagans. Worshipers of Jehovah didn't celebrate such things.
Ishvarlan -
In fulfillment of Scripture:
Jude 17&18
2 Peter 3:3
And to you - father penguin
Psalm 14:1
Galatians 6:3-8
:)

ok, something that has been a mystery to me,,,,, years ago,,,,,, my daughter had a little friend,,,, this friends caretaker went in the hospital, so i was taking care of her,,,,,, members from her church , Jehovahs Witness, also were helping,,,,, on my planned daughters birthday party day, the church members said they would keep the child,,,, as they dont celebrate birthdays,,,,, i asked why, and was told that two cases in the bible where birthdays are mentioned, something bad happened,,,,
now i personally think of the bible sort of like the news, bad things get reported much more often then good, so i am sure during that time, some good birthday celebrations took place
can you shed any light on this?
ps: why would anyone let Herods actions decide truth for them??

Are you JW?
Why do some of your people go around and try to convert people? I see it all the time.
Why don't you celebrate holidays or birthdays? (I had JW friends.)

Why do Jehovah's Witnesses take the position that they are neutral (conciencious objectors - don't serve in military), are not a part of the political structure of the country (don't vote, don't serve on Jury Duty) while at the same time they petition the court system they say they are not part of for redress (go to court to have a ruling that they can preach door to door for example) ?

I hate being rude to the nice people who knock on my door. How can I make them go away, spread the word to their friends that I am uninterested so leave me alone, without hurting anyone's feelings?
If you see this, could you explain something? I went to a funeral which happened to be JW - although the deceased wasn't JW, her family were. And I found it insulting - this business of refusing to mourn because death is a good thing - attitude. Why can't we, as humans, mourn the loss of someone we were very fond of? Why can't we regret her passing, why can't we show our distress?

After getting started over 120 years ago, why are there only 6.5 million Jehovah's Witnesses in a world of nearly 7 billion people? Why haven't they been able to indoctrinate more people?
I am secular, while a cousin of mine is a Witness. Why did he have to silently pray right in front of me at the breakfast table before he ate his stack of pancakes?

Thanks for your offer
1. If the JW's have such a dim view of the "clergy class" and say that they are servants of Satan, then why did the Watchtower send their best 2 lawyers to help Jimmy Swaggart in his lawsuit? Why did they not charge him for their lawyers? Why did they seek "friend of the court" status so that they might intervene on behalf of a member of the "clergy class"?
2. If the JW's say that pyramids are signs of occultism, then why does Pastor Russell's grave have a huge pyramid on it?
