Within easy reach of someone using the toilet. Currently my TP is in a handy drawer nearby because the holder is just at the right height for a cat to have fun unrolling the paper. What a mess!

To be honest, I don't think there is a standard hieght. It all depends on the layout of the bathroom toilet.

I will sit on the toilet and then figure out the best and most conveinent location for the holder. It can be on the left or right or directly across from the toilet. Good luck

if this is for your house, have a seat on the toilet and measure. What is good for you will probably be just as good for the next person.

32 inches from floor to center of holder, (where you will install the molly bolts). 32 inches. hope this helps! GL with it....
