It should be pretty sticky. To the point that you need to put your fingers in a little bit of flour to keep the dough from sticking to your skin.

It should get less sticky every time it rises and you re-flour it and punch it down... when you start out it will probably be sticky enough to pull up the whole lump of dough when you press your hand on it and lift up...by the time it's ready to cook it shouldn't stick to you hand hardly at all.

At first is will be sticky; it will stick to your fingers, but you don't want it runny.

Turn out onto a floured board and working very small amounts of flour in, until it no longer sticks to your fingers. Do not add too much.

As you knead it, it will become smoother and less sticky.

It really depends on what kind of bread you're making, but usually not very sticky, and it should be firm but still have a little give to it.

Slightly sticky just enough where you can grab it hold it in your hands and it will quickly fall off. Sprinkle flour on your hands if you dont want it to stick to you

After it's kneaded properly, it shouldn't be sticky at all, but smooth and elastic. Keep kneading.
