What do they use to stick the brackets onto your teeth? How are they sure that they're strong and won't fall out? Is it possible for a braces to be accidentally removed because of your tongue or been accidentally hit? How strong and durable are braces?

They are impossible to brake off with your tongue. You cant even pry them off really with plyers. YOU would pull out all your teeth before you were able to pull braces off. They can get them of with a special cutting tool.

My sister just got her braces off. She said they use glue to stick the braces to your teeth. The glue is put on with a little brush, like a nail polish brush. I do not think the brackets can be accidentally removed because your tongue flicked it off. It would probably be accidentally broken off if you bit into a big burger or something like that. That's why they tell you to avoid certain foods.

Braces are attached by a ceramic type material.

Sometimes, the brackets can slip off the tooth, but they just hang by the wire, but most often, this happens over the course of years, not right away.

They are simple to reapply, and most people have no problems if they have to wait until their next appointment for the reapplication.

braces are pretty strong. they "cement" them to your teeth using a very stong glue. your tongue wont take them off unless you push and push. the first like 24 hrs you have them on dont eat anything too hard or crunchy. and you really only break brackets if you eat something hard or something of that sort. just stay away from apples, sticky food and hard candy. good luck!

the brackets are glued to your teeth and rarely come off. the wires that go through the brackets are a little more delicate and need some care. just be careful what you eat and you'll be fine. if a wire does come loose, tell your orthodontist right away. they can fit you in and fix it quickly. just do what your orthodontist tells you.
