If you had no income from any source (wages, interest on a bank statement, even unemployment) then you are not required to file a form 1040 (or ez or A). However, if you are eligible to claim the federal long distance tax refund, there is a specific form you can file (1040 EZ T ). You can download files at www.irs.gov
