Honey. You sound a lot like me.
I had a 6 inch hawk when I was 14. And as you are thinking of doing, I shaved my head when I wanted to do something different. It seemed the easiest way to change to something else. And I loved it. As with every style...some will like it...some won't. It's not up to them though, it's all you.
If you have the confidence to pull off a mohawk, then you can pull off anything...including a bald head!
I grew my hair from the bald, and kept a short hair style all through hichschool and college....and had it every color and style imaginable!
Have fun with it.
Remember it isn't the hair wearing you...you wear the hair. Just be confident and know you can pull it off.

I would stay with the mohawk unless you're really desperate to change, like someone else said if you do decide on bald then it will grow back. I'm thinking of getting a mohawk myself. Cool.

Personally, mohawks arent for me. I would suggest parting it till the rest of your hair grows about 1-2inches and letting it grow out together. Otherwise, opt for clean-bald if you're really brave :) Hey, its getting warm outside too!

if it is shock and awe you are looking for... then keep the mohawk until you feel you need to shock your friends and family again.
Kind of like old ladies. Rarely do you find them walking around with LONG LONG grey hair. Most cut it short SHORT SHORT! why? because they get bored? they are unsure of their identity? Or they are insecure about themselves?
Just remember, you asked us what we think.
It is clear you are doing it for us and not for yourself.
If you are having fun with it. I wouldn't shave your head just yet.
I would try to do something in between???

NO WAY, sorry but i HATE mohawks, and dont shave your head if u grew your hair out you would be really pretty

For a girl, hair is her crowning glory. The nicer the hair, the more beautiful she looks. But wear what makes you feel good about yourself. That's what's most important.

cool!!! your question caught my eye because i just had my hair done by my bf last nite, with clippers on #1...not quite bald but close enuf!!! it`s soooo awesome, i just left my long hot pink bangs in the front, which are down to my mouth in length...i wear them over to the side...i think it would look great!!! if u want it, go for it!!!

I would let it grow out..
but keep it kinna short..
i think it looks better than just bald..
