Funny, the people offering advice on men are women.

In a perfect world, people that are worthy and kind are faithful because they love and respect you and themselves. But in the real world, some people settle for less, and this is probably more true the older they get. Does this make someone bad if they find themselves attracted to a 'better mate?' No, because unless you shut yourself off from your emotions, being attracted to someone is natural, it happens all the time. Not acting on those impulses is what separates the good from the bad. Some people have strong morals and don't question their commitments, others have to work at it. So the answer is yes, and no.

Men who want to be faithful ARE faithful. Period. Options shouldn't matter, and if he feels weak or unsure of himself he shouldn't put himself into a situation where there'd BE any other option.

I think a few men are faithful.
But their opions of their self and their mate does mean a lot.
But the answer to your question, yes, I think that might be right.

Kind of cynical, but maybe true for some. Not for others.

And it cuts both ways - the same for some women.
