Sounds like a genetic thing. Dark circles are usually genetic. If you smoke, you must stop or they'll only get worse. Make-up is one way to cover them. Use a shade that is lighter than your own skin color, see a GOOD make-up artist for some suggestions on how to apply and what color to use. There is no way to get rid of them except for cosmetic surgery which is a bit drastic unless they're severe. Schedule an appt. with a VERY GOOD board certified plastic surgeon to see how much it would cost and what the procedure it entails. Consultations are usually free. Once again, I only suggest this if it's severe. One other thing, do you have allergies? I have hay fever and I get dark circles from weeds and pollen esp. in the spring and fall. They go away otherwise. And remember, don't drink either! Partying makes them worse even if you do sleep a lot. I heard stress can make them worse as well. Take care of yourself. Be healthy. Eat well. Exercise. And take good care of your body! If you do all this already and you don't have allergies, it is definitely genetic!

Direct ice, No! by using something so cold may damage the fragile tissue around the eyes. Topical Vitaman K has been used in the aesthetic industry but has yet to be scientifically proven. There is one brand in paticular that has a great product for stubborn dark circles around the eye zone. Give me a yell if your interested as I dont wanna make this a brand push blog.

I have the same problem with puffiness and dark circles. I just recently started using Neutrogena Eye Brightner. I started using it about 4 days ago. I have seen slight results in the darck circles under my eyes and my puffiness has gone down a good bit.

Okay, make sure you sleep AT LEAST 6 hours a night. Second, to help with the dark circles, take a real aloe plant, break one of the limbs off. cut a cold cucumber, take two slices, smear some aloe gel from the plant on the cucumber slices, place them on your eyes. take a cat nap with them on your eyes. Wash your face. Do that like three times a week. Also, shea butter lotion helps to lighten dark areas on your skin, so apply that afterwards.

it might be allergies or it might be genetic, as in my case (thanks dad). try taking allergy medicine. there are a million creams and gels. ive tried them all, none work. try taking an otc allergy pill like claritan, but not with the decongestant (you dont neeed that). the other thing i really want to try is restalyne injections they are supposed to remove the blck really well. good luck

u just need to get enough sleep for htis one to go away! temporary fixers can be using tea bags on the eyes or try potato wedges. But ultimately u're going to need to get some sleep for it to go away!
