i don't know which is better for my notebook

E-system 3090
INTEL CELERON M420 1.6GHZ
512MB DDRII 533RAM

i only need it for internet and media player
not too complicated programs

I have a Ei System 3030 running vista but cant use media centre as on bard graphics card is not good enough. I would suggest staying with XP

XP, you not have enough RAM for Vista to run all the little goodies. You need 1 GB minimum. Though Microbutt say 512 MB, but, read the rest of the story. They go on to say some features may not work.

Windows Vista recommends a system that has better specs than yours.
