How old are you? Maybe you weren't invited to the wedding. Some weddings are 'adults only'.

It might seem like EVERYTHING is so important, and there are so many things you HAVE to do now - but take my word for it: 18 years is a VERY short period of time, and then you have the rest of your life to do whatever you want. It doesn't matter why they say no, they may be totally unreasonable, who know - but they are the parents and you are underage. If you listen, those 18 years will be MUCH more pleasent.

Trust me they have a reason they are just not telling you. Ask them to tell you why and maybe you will understand. They are probably worried that something will happen to you for some reason. It is not easy being a parent you will see one day and understand. I dont know how old you are but soon your will be grown and able to make your own decisions, until then you have no choice but to listen to them. But I do think that they should explain their reasons for not letting you go.

You should study hard, have a part time job and start saving.
If your grades are good enough, you can get into a college and move away or move out after you are 18 and support yourself.
You can try talking to the school councilor.
Good luck

I'm going to assume you're still a teenager and your parents are completely right about not letting you go out to places. I'm sure they let you go out to some places even if they are with you. Dont grow up so fast. You'll have time to go out on your own. Cherish the time you have with your parents.

Im sure they have a good reason why they dont want you to go to any event. It could be that you are still a minor and that you are going to an event thats not yet appropriate for you to go alone.

Get over it. There are places you just shouldn't be. Thank your parents for caring about whether or not you grow up into a decent person.

How old are you?
If you were invited and an adult, then go.
If you are under 18 you listen to your parents.
Plus, if you are under 18 maybe its an adult only party and thus you are not allowed or invited.

they're your parents. they are who make the rules. until youre out from under their roof, they make the rules. have you done anything to destroy their trust, cuz that might be part of the problem, like sneeking out or lying about where you've gone????
