Mostly by DNA testing. DNA tests are used in court to convict or exonerate some criminals. It is also used to tell pregnant women if their unborn child will have a birth defect. It also tells the sex of the baby. So it is now mostly used for testing.

Most of our aspect of life I think, food production, medical, human, animal, cultivars and lots more...since we are searching better and easy ways
