I was wondering what plants give off the highest rate of oxygen?
I think it would be good for people to know.
Maybe if more people start to plant some in their gardens we can do a small service to the environment.

Actually, what most people think is that the air comes from large forests, like the rain forest. This is not true. The largest percentage of the world's oxygen comes from microscopic plankton and algae that are in the oceans.

All flora produce oxygen and eat carbon dioxide. some alga also use oxygen. No plant will provide sufficient oxygen to help fish in an aquarium. also nedd some type of pump/aeration to provide dissolved oxygen. pretend flora do no longer do some thing yet sit there.
