Here's the narration:
I'm once a buddhist.I consider myself having less influence in buddhism, furthermore,I am attracted to christianity.I gota free bible version(it's none english version-maybe that's why i'm ignorent at some issues). After I converted,I found out tat buddhism has a huge influence on me.Furthermore,my fellow members ,unlike me,are not having serious culturalinfluences.their ideas are largely dissimillar with me,as well as some of the bible texts(but now it's a bot of better),especially about hell issue.I thought christianity can bring what they say-peace in mind, but it create a lot of conflict-i did not workship idols before, althought i am buddhist ,and now i am attracted to buddhism teaching. My members are quite good people, but i could not make them understand my problem, and i am instead of radist,I am a great pacifist, who believes tolerance & etc.I thought i believe completely in christianity, now i c i dontWat should I do?
It has been a hard time for me,please help

Lane, you should think for yourself and not for a religion. Christians are so big on the "hell" word that they're all going there if there is one. The big problem is that you want to be christian, yet you enjoy peace. Christianity is conflict driven and war-like. Read the old testament and you'll see how much they enjoy killing. Buddhists are much easier to get along with and don't go around judging every one to make themselves feel better about themselves. My opinion is, when you switched religions, you picked the wrong one. Why embrace religion in the first place? Why not be you and stop letting others think for you?

I think your problem is not the religion so much as the people. Many christians are hypocrites. The bible says don't judge, yet they judge. If you believe in what the bible says, then stick with Christianity but perhaps try a new congregation or ignore what the people say and listen to what God and the bible have to say.

Buddha doesn't want to trouble anyone. If converting into Buddhism brings you a lot of trouble, why don't you take Buddha's teaching as a philosophy for your life but remain in your family's religion so that you do not get any unnecessary troubles. Buddha's mercy is vast; as long as you ask for his protection, he will protect and guide you through your life.

Perhaps research is the best idea for you. Look into several different religions and faiths, then see what appeals to you. There are hundreds of religions to look into, but the best answer is to maybe just to believe in what you believe. There is no need to have a title for your belief system. As long as you feel connected to the Divine/Oneness, I see no reason to worry about a specific religion or title.

you're just confused because you learn things which are not complement in reality,
it is hard to find someone who can understand you specially when they are not experiencing same situation because their faith are only open to the book of christianity. while you, your life is open to the book of buddhism and christianity. now try to do it this way. don't mix up buddhism with christianity, do it step by step, know the answers for your question in christianity, seek for answers, when you're not contented with an answer, try to search for another answer
when you already know and have decided which to be in, then do it but learn to respect each and everyones faith although there may be times that it may contradict your past knowledge

The problem we mortals here on earth have is this, "We want to define who God is." We have a hard time allowing God to tell us who he is. Just like you have the ability to define who you are, like wise, God retains that right. This is why he created humans with the ability to read. So he could write a book to explain who he is and what he wants from us.
The bible is this book where God explains who he is. You need to believe this is God directing you and bringing you near to him thru bible reading.
Hell is not for those who believe but those who won't give God an opportunity to prove he is real thru scripture.

The Abrahamic religions are all intolerant and always give conflicts, amongst each other, and with everybody else. That's why I think you should stick to Buddhism if you can't let go of religion.

pray to the Lord for help and the faith u need. ive gone thru the same thing after converting: doubting and wanting to go back to my old life. this is simply satan trying deserately to make you turn from Jesus. keep persevering and please dont give up!! remember that Christianity does bring peace, but follwing Jesus means we will be faced with problems..we are promised a good life not an easy life!!

I tell you what--it is NOT your religion that matters--it is your relationship to Jesus Christ.
The rest will come to you naturally--love for others, peace of mind, joy unstoppable, happiness you can't explain, and contentment, no matter wht is happening----ALL BECAUSE Jesus makes your heart that way.
BUT!!! You have to believe that Jesus can come into your heart and change you and believe that He forgives you of ALL your sins--JUST BY ASKING HIM-----into your heart.
You need to believe that He died on that cross to save you from your sins. You need to ASK HIM to forgive you of all your sins and tell Him you BELIEVE that He died on the cross. That is ALL it takes.
He is listening to you--BELIEVE ME!!
The reason you are having trouble believing, is that Satan does NOT want you to be happy, joyful, peaceful, and content---so he is making you DOUBT and have FEAR of the unknown. But he is a LIAR!
Jesus loves you sooooo much and He just wants to live in your heart!
Just ask Him, just like you talk to people.
He is there, RIGHT BESIDE YOU and WHEREVER YOU GO!
I PROMISE, as a CHRISTIAN--I am going to pray for you to see that Jesus loves you and that you FEEL HIS LOVE in your heart!!!
