since october i have had this pain. ive seen 3 docs and every test comes back good, anyone have any ideas?

this could be a muscle that you are over using. If you do a lot a computer work that can cause this type of problem. Apply heat to the area several times a day to relax the muscles.

I recommend you see a qualified massage therapist and let them do some deep massage on the area. They will be able to recommend what you can do to reduce the pain.

You can also see a chiropractor if you don't get helped through massage. I've enclosed a link where you can find a qualified chiropractor in your area in the USA.

Have you by chance had your kidneys checked? UTI's can commonly cause mid to upper back pain.
