I asked a question a while ago, and thought I should ask it again, but rephrased, since all what I've got were biblical quotes. So please answer it this time WITHOUT ANY reference, or quotes from the BIBLE. Answer from your own logic. And any biblical quotes will be ignored.

Here it's:
It's a fact in Christianity that God is All-Powerful and All-Knowing. So He must surely know the past, the present and the future. And it's also a fact that He made every human (And non-human) in this vast universe. So that means when He made us, He already knew exactly what He was doing, and He knew exactly what kind of life would we live, and what belief (or non-belief) would we follow, without him interfering with our free will. (I do believe He gave us free will, but still He knows what's it gonna be). In the same time, He made hell, and promised that some people will go there unless they accept Christianity. So when He made me for example, He knew that I won't be a Christian, and subsequently go to hell because of it. But still He made me. He made me while knowing for sure that I'll make a "bad choice". How can you explain that in the light of your belief in God's love and mercy?

P.S: Again, NO biblical quotes please.
P.S 2: I understand the whole concept of free will, so don't start talking about it in your answer!
P.S 3: I'm a Deist, I believe in the existence of a Supernatural Deity, but I don't believe in Christianity.

You pose a good question, but I don't believe that just because you don't choose Christianity you're going to Hell. I mean, I'm sure there is more than one religion that condemns non-believers to Hell or some Underworld, so in that sense aren't we just ALL going to Hell?
Not believing in Christianity isn't enough to banish someone to Hell I don't think. So long as they're tolerant of other's beliefs and lead a generally positive life, doing 'good' things and the likes then you should go to Heaven.
... But I'm sure other people have different views.

You sure sound intelligent so how come you fail to understand the fall of Man,to know the Good News(Christ ) you have to know the Bad News first.
God is Mercy and love and it is because of this that He created Angels and Man even though He saw that some would rebel against Him,think of it as scripture puts it,shifting wheat from chaff.
All created beings have the same chance to inherit eternal joy with God but there is a very serious test that all must pass through first and this is God`s merciful plan of salvation, sure we can rail against it and kick and scream but in the end you and I will be in Heaven or Hell, forever.
This life is really only a blip between two eternities.

Hell exists because of sin. Not just man's sin, but the sins of angels as well. Angels who sinned were cast into Hell and now they're called demons. Heaven and Hell are not 3-dimensional places like our universe, and so it's really not possible for us to comprehend what they're like. When you start getting into dimensions higher than the 3rd dimension, time starts becoming irrevelant. God knows what will happen throughout all time because He can see all time at once. Imagine a 2-dimensional plane travelling through the 3rd dimension. If 2-dimensional beings can only perceive things within their 2-dimensional universe, then they wouldn't be able to see something until it passed through the plane that is their universe. As 3-dimensional beings, however, we'd be able to see their past, present, and future all at the same time. That's how God can see our past, present, and future at the same time. He exists beyond 3-dimensions and so He can perceive all time simultaneously. So when God created man, He gave man free-will but He knew what man's choice would be. Man chose sin. Heaven is a perfect place that is totally free of sin. That's why the angels had to be cast out when they sinned. Man cannot enter Heaven if he is guilty of sin and the only alternative is Hell. However, by paying the price for man's sin, Jesus enables us to enter Heaven even though we are undeserving of this. Jesus is the only man who was without sin, so he was the only person who ever lived who had the ability to pay this price for us.

Now, I have put a lot of thought into this, and to be honest, I have to admit that I sometimes doubt the truth of the Bible. But the way I look at it, if atheism is true, then I'll have lost nothing if I'm a Christian. But if Christianity IS true, then I'll lose my eternal soul if I'm an athiest. I'm just trying to play it safe. Of course some Christians would argue that I'm not saved because I have doubts, but I would argue that even Jesus's disciples had doubts and I'm not going to say I'm better than Jesus's disciples!

People are trying to see this from a viewpoint of Man not having done anything wrong, and I think that's why no one can really answer this the way you like (except for "there is no God"). Look, if Man was damaged beyond repair in the fall of Adam, wouldn't he and all of humanity stand guilty before the Lord anyway? Damaged Man can do anything he likes that way, any decision he wants, but he ain't lookin' to God for salvation. Adam had that ability for a short time, we don't any more. Yes, God knew you wouldn't be a Christian, and so what, I would not have been a Christian either, I'm just as guilty as you! Except the Holy Spirit open my eyes to where I was headed, TTUG. That doesn't make me any better than you, so no pride here. He could have just left me in my sins and I would have had nothing to say about my destruction at the end of my days.

So that's my explanation, God did not have to have love and mercy toward anyone. Why he predestined and chose me, and not you (notice I'm giving credit to God, not me here, no "accepting" talk), is beyond me, 'cause I'm just like you. Except I believe, you don't. I can try to convince you that it's true, but even if I do, salvation is in God's hands, I get no credit for it, and neither do you if you "choose" Him. The whole shot is the work of someone beyond both of us. Or not, if he doesn't save some. Either way, neither of us have no claims to make, nothing to say in our defense.

How do you know you won't ever believe? You may someday, but that's up to you. He made everyone, and we do all have free will. If he only let the ones who would accept him be born, how would that be free will? He also created Satan too which subsequently lead to this discussion. Why did he create Satan if he knew he would end up Evil? If you want real good answers to your questions, I would suggest you read the Bible. That's why he created it. You obviously can't be totally against it because your curious enough to want some answers.

I'm not qualified to answer for him, so read the Bible and pray for knowledge about the subject if you need answers to this.

I also am not a fan of church because there's too much corruption there and it's hard to trust anyone now adays. I read my Bible and pray. It doesn't say in the Bible you have to belong to a religiuos organization to go to heaven, you just have to have faith in him and believe in Jesus and believe Jesus died on the cross for our sins.

You don't have to be a "Christian" to go to heaven, because believe me there are quite a few Christians that won't be going there.

If you know about a religion that is 100% percent logic, let me know.

A religion is a group of believes and some people decide to follow them, that's all.

Leave this people alone. They'll give answers based on the Bible.

The Bible is a book created taken some ancient scripts according what it was good for the people in charge of church at the moment. Nobody explains wha other scripts where left behind.

Religion is such a confusing thing. Let me give you and example Rastafarism is based on the Bible. Can you imagine Jesus smoking herb?.

Attention. I do not mean to bother any one. Facts are facts.

First you need to comprehend once you're a baby of God or a baby of the worldwide. God would not burn his toddlers. the reason there's a lake of hearth is as a results of the fact God is a God of justice and you have broken God's regulation, you're a lawbreaker and a God hater yet by fact he's likewise a God of love he paid the penalty on your sin so for you to have a right courting with him, he would not want you to circulate there. once you stand previously him and are judged on your movements, suggestions and words....you will the two stand previously him as his baby and recieve mercy and style or as a baby of wrath and recieve his fierce anger in direction of sin. in the top in case you circulate to the burning lake of hearth, you chosen to circulate there. Thats unfastened will. it truly is a punishment with out end and the place the trojan horse and hearth will eat your flesh and the smoke of your torment will upward push continuously. could you desire to comprehend a thank you to sidestep the burning lake of hearth? Or are you happy fabric to nonetheless be a lawbreaker and have not have been given any peace?

Every rational, honest Christian wonders about this, because what they've been taught, when put all together, just does not make sense. A childhood friend of mine once asked a nun a very similar question and got the answer that all Christians eventually are reduced to say, in impossible situations: "We just don't know everything about God, but we know whatever He does is right."

You won't get a rational answer because they have none to give.

You are leaving out one important detail in all your facts. YOU don't know your own future. I realize you are trying to make a point here and so am i. People change. For one reason or another people change. Life alters our perceptions as we grow older, gives us insight that we didn't have when we were younger. As a result our opinions change as do our attitudes. Who are you to say that in tens years something might happen in your life to change your views and wha la bingo! Your a christian going to church and believing just like everybody else. As a result you end up going to heaven. On the other hand perhaps you are only here to give me a bad example not to follow. Perhaps its people like you that God is using to strengthen the faith that is in me. Perhaps not. I guess we will see though wont we. by the way i also believe in God but not in church or the organizations that go with it. Just me and God and thank you to Jesus.

Good question. As a Christian, let me try to answer. I don't know if my answer is "right" according to Christian "experts", but I'll try to answer wihtout biblical quotes and without explaining free will, since you already have a good grasp of that.

I think it's pretty simple actually. Christianity teaches that EVERYONE, Christian or not, has sinned, and therefore has fallen short of God's expectation of perfection, and therefore deserving of hell -- which I define as the only place that is completely devoid of God's presence.

Most Christians agree that it is out of unconditional LOVE for us that God sent Jesus Christ to save us from our sin through his death and resurrection.

Here's the simple part that will answer your question, I hope. It is out of unconditional RESPECT for you that God will allow you to choose whether or not to accept that second chance offered through Jesus Christ. He is a very loving and merciful God, but his unconditional respect for you compels him to allow you to make your own choice.

I wish all of my fellow Christians would show those who choose not to follow Christianity the same unconditional respect that our God shows them.

Again, this may or may not be an official "Christian" position. It's just mine.
