Yes, it is expected as it causes lots of acidity. If the symptoms are more, then you may take gelusil or visit a doctor for a prescription. Or at home, Try to cool the tummy with more fruits, veggies, fibrous foods, tomatoes,yoghurt, etc.

Ibuprofen frequently causes heartburn. Tylenol usually does not. If he needs to take ibuprofen have him take it with yogurt or on a full stomach that should help.
