*** Do black people believe God is black? ***
Yes, most assuredly if such a thing as a God can be shown to actually exist, most folk fashion their Gods in their own image.
The events of The Bible and Al Quran happened
in what is now known as Africa and Arabia.
Europe and America are not mentioned.
The birth of Adam
The Holy Quran 15.26:
And certainly We created man ( Adam ) of clay that
gives forth sound, of black mud fashioned in shape.
The Resurrection
The Holy Quran TA HA 20: 102
The day when the trumpet is blown; and
We shall gather the guilty, blue-eyed, on that day,
The Old Testament
The Bible Song of Solomon 1: 5 - 6
How right they are to adore you!
Dark am I, yet lovely,
O daughters of Jerusalem,
dark like the tents of Kedar,
like the tent curtains of Solomon.
Do not stare at me because I am dark,
because I am darkened by the sun.
The New Testament Ancients of days.
The Bible Revelation 1: 13 - 15
And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace;...

and that is as it should be.

I am a white person and I believe the the Son of God - Jesus Christ was a man of Color.
Look at where the stories and scriptures of the Bible originated from. Do you see a lot of Blond hair blue eyed white folk there?

I would have to say that most black people say that he is black. I'm African American and I'm ok with whatever color GOD is. Some say if you read the Bible it mentions GOD as being Dark so I really dont know.

Do white people think he's white?
Because it's not really possible that a bunch of dark skinned nomads near Egypt were worshiping a pale skinned German god.
All Gods are projections of National or Cultural Identity. Therefore all gods are created by men and in the image of those men.
It's self worship, and probably phallic somehow.

I don't have a picture of God in my mind. He can be any color he wants to be, and I do believe all colors combined do actually make black, so maybe they're right afterall.

God has very few human characteristics at all and appearence is definetly not one of them.
Jesus on the other hand was most probable Arabic, he was born in Nazareth after all.

Why is it so important to determine what race Jesus is? We should pay heed to what he taught and stood for.
Would Einstiens formula be any different- had he been black?
The life is in the brain of every human, so I'll say Jesus was gray.

I don't think god has a "color." I think god is more of a pervasive presence - something that fills the 90% empty space that makes up matter.
But Jesus was most likely Black.

If they do then it's because they were forced to look at a picture of white blue eyed Jesus!
They wanted to be closer to the religion that their ancestors were forced into.
