I went thru this once, thank God for the community. Everyone (blacks, whites, hispanics, asians etc) donated different things to us. Our sons Boy Scout troops, our daughter's G.Scout troop, their schools, strangers gathered money at their places of worship for us. These items were so helpful.

I live in San Diego, and the wildfires four years ago got alarmingly close to where I was living. Since then, I have scanned all my important physical papers, photographs, and my large collection of sheet music [I'm a musician] into PDFs and/or JPGs. The recent fires didn't come near me [I'm closer to downtown San Diego now], but if I ever have to leave quickly for whatever reason, I'll just take my laptop that holds all the files. I'd hate to lose my books and CDs, but that's what insurance is for [by the way, I have a Word file on the computer that contains an inventory of all those items].

As a Mother myself I would say get her things for her kids. Most likely some organization will help with the bare necessities but the kids have lost all their nice clothing and toys and this is probably affecting them the most. So I would say -get them a couple luxuries to cheer them up.
You have a good heart-God Bless you!!

clothes, health and beauty aids like soap, deodorants, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, the baby needs baby food, diapers. The 12 year old boy needs clothes but I am sure a few creature comforts like toys would be nice (whatever it is that a 12 year old plays with) maybe a radio.

Of course clothes is a neccessity, but I'm sure the children would like to have a toy/stuffed animal to comfort them in their time of loss. Sure it's not a need, but I think it would probably make them feel a little better. I'm sure the mother could use someone to talk to.

Of course...they will need clothing, diapers and things to do with diapers, a place to stay til they are able to get on their feet....contact the Red Cross. They can help with alot of the necessities. Good Luck to them.

God, Hope Things will get better, and Thankfulness (we tend to see what we lost and forget what we have )Friendship/kinship, someone they can lean on and someone they can help. Continued Blessing/Healing & Prayers.
I believe that from this much good will come in every area of your life...reach out and help someone else.

Wow. I would say a lot of support. Perhaps organize a drive in the community to help this single Mom. Refer her to any agency you can . be her Lifeline until she gets herself on her feet.
