Jesus said,If anyone forsake their father, mother, sister, brother, lands, houses and their own life for him and the kingdoms sake they would receive manifold in this world with persecutions. What Jesus said makes it so to me,no it doesn't shock me it lets me know I am right where I am supposed to be at with the Lord.I rejoice and leap for joy if need be just like he also said.

Let me spell this out to you. Your 'presence' creates conviction and even hate because youre a bunch of arrogant dogmatic hypocrites who take the default position that everything and anything you do is right by virtue of your beliefs and absolutely everyone else is wrong.
I have absolutely no problem with your worshipping Jesus or believing in whatever you want, you however have no right, none, to try and force these beliefs on others. This is what Christians consistently fail to understand and why you end up with the peverse opinion that youre being persecuted, despite having run most of the world for the last 500 years.

When I first got saved I think my light was so bright it blinded people everytime my husband and I came around. We talked about Jesus every where we went. We have been told there is something wrong with us cause all we talked about was Jesus, but now those people are in church. Now my light is dim and its the light of others that convict me.

You are right .We have been told we will be persecuted for our love of Christ. All i feel is sorrow for those who don't know or feel love for the savior. If you want to feel better about all that you face in your time here on the earth just put your trust in Jesus, get to know Him and you will find the peace He so freely offers you.

Humility is the key, when we think too highly of ourselves then insults will penetrate to the very heart, being a humble servant of the Lord combats this defect in us and so insults should never need to effect our inner peace.
Blessings to you in Christ, alleluia.

Christians are the majority.
Christians are the dominant population in the society.
Christians are not rejected.
Christians are not persecuted.
Chrisitans are in charge.
If Christians face persecution it is from other Christians. Stop blaming Islam and atheism.
