Ask yourself why an adult woman would require punishment in the manner of a child. Does your church believe that a grown woman has no other way of apprehending wrongdoing? It sounds absolutely bogus to me; if it were a fair practice, it would be also applied to men of the same age range, for, in my experience, young men misbehave even more than young women. What do they do to the men?
Oh yes, what theology and regulation permits this form of punishment? Just because it is written down somewhere, that doesn't make it ok to practice. Ask yourself why you "want to be punished" in this way. It certainly doesn't seem constructive for adult correction. There are much more effective ways that an adult of sound mind can make amends for bad behavior. It sounds like another way to put off growing up mentally to me, and of course, it sounds as kinky as any late-night softcore movie plot ever was.
P.S. I think there would be some sort of legal proscription against corporal punishment by church officials in their official capacity, wouldn't there? Look into this: those guys could get in legal trouble too...all it takes is one "consenting adult" to say she was spanked too hard or unjustly.

Is this spanking being done with knickers on or off? Good
Lord - consenting adults should be able to gratify themselves
however they chose, I suppose, as long as they don't cause
anyone bodily harm, but I would like to see the "theology"
justifying this practise. This reminds me of Aldous Huxley's
DEVILS OF LOUDUN, where nuns would claim to be
possessed just so they could be exorcised with an anal
douche of holy water! Seems like a typical example of
Chrstian crossing of spritual and sexual wires..

I've read some pretty sick comments on here but this has got to take the cake.
It reminds me of Proverbs 26:23
Like a coating of glaze over earthenware are fervent lips with an evil heart.
The point is that wickedness is covered over by smooth talk. That whole thing just flowed so well with only one slang word in it and yet its subject matter is mind-bogglingly at odds with the necessity for strong Christian women who preach and teach their children.
Absolutely astoundingly narrated.

She and her 2 sisters & cousin nonetheless attempt to celebration for a girl's only BD party and multiple cases that finally ends up in the BD woman getting her classic spanks...I understand that reckoning on the temper and the sufferer's quantity of cooperation, it stages from completely clothed (hardly!) to panties and each so often bare buns or perhaps in birthday healthful if the moon is nice!! a pair of years in the past they met at our homestead and my semi-uncooperative spouse have been given stripped thoroughly and have been given her merely advantages: 25 plus a million. additionally they saved her from putting something back for 2 or 3 hours. I remind her of it each twelve months, just to tease her.

Wow!
There are some Protestant churches (mostly small, poor, and literalist) which find a biblical basis for this in the writings of Saint Paul who wrote, "despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth everyone whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with children; for what child is one whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not children. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Heb, 12:5-11)
According to a catholic freind of mine, this was a common practice hundreds of years of ago. Some say that it is practiced today by members of the Opus Dei (a catholic cult)..There are even famous paintings showing this (see the link below.)
According to at least one peer reviewed scientific jounral, its use has been incorporated into professional pastoral counseling. (see.
Saucer, P.R. (1992). Evangelical renewal therapy: A proposal for integration of religious values into psychotherapy. Psychological Reports, 69, 1099-1106)
If you want to promote it, you can (1) cite Heb. 12; (2) show your ministers or group leaders those ancient catholic paintings; and (3) show that it is used by trained pastoral counselors.

Tell me that you don't think these pastors and male witnesses don't enjoy it. I'd be damned suspicious of them.
Think about it.
If, on the wild offchance that YOU enjoy it, then you should consider taking it up with your partner because spanking is a very common sexual kink.

Sounds kinky to me. Some Eastern Rites churches had to be told not to crucify their bad women. But the link below is best one of all. See if you need it in your church.

Absolutely not and .... it is not scriptural... Jesus paid the penalty for sin, he was punished in our place. The Holy Spirit gently convicts of sin, we confess and repent of them to receive His forgiveness ..
What is going on at your church greatly grieves the Lord ..
Please .. I strongly encourage you to never return and to find a God loving, bible believing church. You'll be amazed at the difference ..
