12 years ago power steering was not a standard but an option on some cars so basically I do not know good luck with whatever you decide on

I don't think it will I'm afraid. I have owned 4 escorts from G to my current S reg, only my current car has power steering. I think Ford only started power steering as standard in their fiestas and escorts from around the P reg.

No.

Power steering was available on the Fiesta (optional on some models, standard on others) from its major facelift and re-engineering in late 1995, after M-reg. The 1.1-litre engine was never used in the later versions.

If it Doesn't ya don't Need It anyway. The Short Wheel base and small tires makes them easy to steer, almost like it has power steering. Great cars, but dangerous in an accident. I used to drive mine with pedal to the floor and always got 50+mpg. Better than the new hybrid con.

all above are wrong.

it was an option, it wouldnt have come as standard.
standard on 16 16v ghia, 1.4 si, 1.6 16v si and thats it, it was available to any one who wanted it.

Maybe yes, maybe no, if you have ever been able to turn it with one hand while at a stop it has it or your very strong.

yes you can get a after market conversion. but to be honest its so expensive i wouldnt bother with it.
