A person can go out and kill 35 people, including 22 children ,and be forgiven. When a person is gay they are condemed, no questions asked. Who was the RELIGIOUS genius that figured that out.

A gay person is not condemned, it is the continuous practice of same sex copulation that God state brings condemnation Repentance(in Greek, change of mind) is what God seeks from us. If the killer of 25 people repents, God is so gracious that he forgives ( what a great God). If the homosexual repents,(changes his mind of right and wrong) he also is forgiven. It does not take a religious genius, it just takes a little understanding of the true heart of God, by the leading of his Spirit to clear things up. It is not my wrongful desires that bring the anger of God, it is carrying them out in reality.

The only reason for seeing being gay as a sin might be, that you can't breed little Christians out of those relationships. And some people always seem to mix up gay and pedophile! That's something else! There are straight pedophiles, too, in this world!
In my eyes a sin is always doing harm to another, even if it is out of a 'good' purpose, it is a sin. But the judgment has to be here on earth. Just consider for once there is no afterlife, so who is more sinful? The one who took peoples life and sent them to nothingness or the one who never harmed anybody, just happen to love the same gender. C'mon!! THINK!

it will be it really is the way it occurred. yet some human beings trust that there have been human beings on earth before Adam and Eve were given the following. perhaps the discovered them and married them. i imagine the heritage of our earth is alot extra complicated than what it says contained in the bible. The bible is an common version because our minds won't be able to comprehend all that God does. yet, i does no longer problem about it. The genes decrease back then were a lot extra organic and they might are turning out to be away with having sex with their sisters and in no way produce any deformed little ones. in basic terms because we do not understand each and each of the mysteries contained in the bible, would not propose that we are perverted. There are diverse traditions in diverse cultures. Beverly

You simply need to have a more accurate understanding of who God is and how he works.

He made the rules, but is exceptionally merciful in that it is not his desire that any should remain in sin, so he gives ALL equal opportunity to come to him for forgiveness. He will forgive the murderer, the homosexual, the liar, the one who is angry at another- all of us equally. He is the author of true equal rights. We all have equal opportunity to be free.

God knew we would all sin, so he knew we needed a perfect sacrifice to atone for our sin. That's why Jesus came.
When we come to him and ask for forgiveness through Christ and turn away from our sin, we are forgiven. God then chooses to remember our sin no more. He makes a clear choice not to hold it against us any longer, and looks at us through the perfection of Christ as if we had never sinned. When we fall and come to him and ask forgiveness, he forgives again, and looks at us as if we never did it- with no limit of how many times we fail or stumble.

The religious genius that figured this out is God, because he is merciful and loving. He affords us all the same opportunity to be free.

The true problem lies with us individually- we refuse to acknowledge sin for what it is. We prefer to make excuses for it and defend it because we don't care for God's rules. We just refuse to understand he knows what is the very best for us, because ultimately, humans naturally want what we want and really don't care much about God. We're a selfish, self centered lot.

But he cares about us anyway. Enough to send His son to die for our sins.

Any and all sins can be forgiven if you repent (realize deeply it was wrong - so that you could not do it again).

That is real genius - to figure this out.

When a person goes out and murders people, they can only have forgiveness if they ask God and repent of their sins. Being gay is also a sin. Therefore if you don't repent (which means to turn away from) and ask for forgiveness then you are only condemning yourself. As for people who condemn others thats for God to judge.

this is a serious misconception on two parts. The first being that Christians do not condone the actions so in the case of the murderer and the homosexual we state they are both wrong...how do we know God said so. However the second misconception and unfortunately Christians themselves forget this we are told to love our neighbours at no point is it okay to hate a homosexual or a murderer only to show love.

The Bible says "Repent" that means to be "sorry all the way to and including the spirit-STOP THE SIN YOU ARE DOING-and turn toward God".

One can NOT say "I am sorry forgive me" and keep doing the same old sin again and again.

What if a "Practicing" murderer decided to be ordained and start their own church for "Practicing murderers"?

The same holds true for the Homosexual...YOU HAVE TO STOP THE SIN-NOT START YOUR OWN CHURCH!

A PRACTICING HOMOSEXUAL IS (NOT) A CHRISTIAN NEITHER IS A PRACTICING ADULTERER, THIEF MURDERER, LIAR OR ANYONE WHO CONTINUES TO PRACTICE THEIR APPLIED SIN.

One can turn and become a Christian and find salvation but that person can also turn right back to their vice and walk away from any salvation they ever had.

YET GOD LOVES THE SINNER, BUT NOT THE SIN, AND I AM SURE HE CRIES WHEN ONE REFUSES TO ACCEPT OR TURNS AWAY FROM THE SALVATION THAT IS OFFERED.
