I'm going to move into a one-bedroom apartment and I want to know in what order I should clean the rooms. Should I start with the kitchen, the bathroom, the bedroom or the living room ? I know it's better to start cleaning from the top going down so I'll be working on the ceiling first then the walls, windows, then the floor.

Well by the time you are finished moving in and start your cleaning you will want to go to bed, Tired ! I would start with the bedroom first so it is nice and clean for you when you are tired and want to go straight to bed then move on to the kitchen so you can have your first meal, then last but not least living room should be cleaned then all the other things when you are fully moved in and settled you can move on to cleaning the walls, windows and then floors, such as the kitchen floor and perhaps bathroom floors if they are linoleum that is. Good Luck ! And happy moving day to you

I would clean the bathroom first since you will have to use it. After that choose your order of importance. If your going to be cooking right away that may be the kitchen. I'd also clean any closets before I put my things away in them.

I would start with the kitchen and the bathroom. Those two rooms seem to have the most bacteria and germs, so it would make me feel better to have them clean first.

Enjoy your new place!

Start in the room thatis furthest back and work your way forward. Also remember to work left to right and top to bottom, that is the most effective and thourough. Good luck!

Start at the point furthest away from the front door, and work outwards. This way walking back and forth, you/others won't walk dirt etc over the already cleaned area's.

usually when you move into an apartment, prior to move-in the landlord has the rug washed or a new rug put in, and cleans and paints the apartment, including cleaning the refrigerator and stove. Why not solve your dilemma and just look for a good apartment complex to move into.

You have to clean the entire apartment. Hence you can start from any place you like.
