Hitler's appointment as Chancellor
Meanwhile Papen, resentful because of his dismissal, tried to get his revenge on Schleicher by working toward the General's downfall, through forming an intrigue with the camarilla and Alfred Hugenberg, media mogul and chairman of the DNVP. Also involved were Hjalmar Schacht, Fritz Thyssen and other leading German businessmen. They financially supported the Nazi Party, which had been brought to the brink of bankruptcy by the cost of heavy campaigning. The businessmen also wrote letters to Hindenburg, urging him to appoint Hitler as leader of a government "independent from parliamentary parties" which could turn into a movement that would "enrapture millions of people."[14]
Finally, the President reluctantly agreed to appoint Hitler Chancellor of a coalition government formed by the NSDAP and DNVP. Hitler and two other Nazi ministers (Frick, Göring) were to be contained by a framework of conservative cabinet ministers, most notably by Papen as Vice-Chancellor and by Hugenberg as Minister of Economics. Papen wanted to use Hitler as a figure-head, but the Nazis had gained key positions, most notably the Ministry of the Interior. On the morning of January 30, 1933, in Hindenburg's office, Adolf Hitler was sworn in as Chancellor during what some observers later described as a brief and simple ceremony. The Nazis' seizure of power subsequently became known as the Machtergreifung. Hitler established the Reichssicherheitsdienst as his personal bodyguards.

Haha i have no clue when he became Chancellor...probably late 1930s is my guess...
Once he was in power, though, he created a very Nationalistic idea of a 'pure, German race.' And as the Jews were a minority group and already blamed for Germany's failing economy (they moved to Germany when the Russians kicked them out with pogroms), it was easy to pick on the Jews. Even though that's what Hitler is most famous for, he also killed people who were opposed to him, homosexuals, or anyone who wasn't on par with his idea of a 'white, Christian utopia.'
Most people were very for the Nationalistic, somewhat racist view until they learned what he was really doing. However, there wasn't much they could do, for by then, he was very powerful. Everyone ended up living with the fear that they meight end up like the Jews.
The rest of the world didn't actually know about the concentration camps/mass killings (with gas, etc) until very late in the war. Britain, France, Russia, and later the USA were against Germany (with Italy switching halfway through) ; Japan was Germany's main ally, and the last of the three to surrender.
Hitler is sort of 'what caused' world war 2, although there are about a hundred other factors that contributed to the second world war.
hope that helped.

Historical person? What school are you attending? The Neo Nazi school of propaganda? Hitler was nothing more than a totally insane genocidal maniac.
1. January 30 1933
2. Hitler spread propaganda depicting the Jews and Catholics as cause for all the problems occurring in Germany at that time, as well as establishing a dictatorship based on ethnic cleansing, martial law, massive military, boy and girl indoctrination camps, and secret service...
3. Most of the German citizens absorbed Hitler's propaganda thus like gullible abodient little zombies, they informed the Nazis of the Jews and Catholics hide outs, where as the more intelligent German citizens did what they could to combat the Nazis, and or fled Germany.
Many people of that time referred to Hitler as the anti-Christ, so there's your attractive beginning, and if not for the US and allies crushing Hitler and his Nazis we'd be lamp shades or bars of soap... there's your attractive ending...

Eliminated the Reichstag or the government; after Hindenburg's death, made himself Fuhrer or the sole leader of Germany; persecuted the Jews and other so-called undesirables; preached against the Treaty of Versailles and brought out a new nationalistic spirit; built uo a giant military complwx in defiance of the Treaty of Versailles prohibiting Germany of such an enterprise; annexed the Rhineland ,Austria and Sudentland ; took over the rest of Czechoslovakia; in the person of Ribbentrop signed a non-aggression pact with the USSR; got the appeasement he wanted with Chamberlain in 1938 and broke his word when he took over the rest of Czechoslovakia; decided and signed papers for the final solution of the Jews ; invaded Poland igniting World War 2; invaded the Low Countries; France in 1940; failed to achieve success he desired at the Battle of Britain, Operation Barbarossa; the Siege of Stalingrad, the campaign in Noth Africa; allied with Japan and Italy in the Tripartite Pact; nationalized major industries ; planned the first makor German offensive in winter since Frederick the Great and started the battle of the Bulge in the Ardennes forest; saw the dissolution of his country
The people overall greatly admired and loved Hitler as a messiah or savior of Germany although I do believe some of this could be accredited to fear of persecution.

This does trouble me considering the fact which you are able to in ordinary terms circulate thus far with weaving fiction and history jointly till you hit the disrespectful-plenty?-mark. in case you create a fantasy international and base historic activities into the history of your international, then i think of it is honest because of the fact which ability you're inspired. I do this. yet once you attempt and say (like what you mentioned) magic exchange into utilized in Hitler's upward push to potential. No, no longer the rest. It exchange into the melancholy, it exchange into the anger of the German human beings against the Treaty of Versailles, it exchange into politics, and it exchange into Hitler's manipulating abilities that did it. no longer the rest. end of. The Percy Jackson factor ... it is okay, i assume, to an quantity. it is no longer likely overboard yet did in addition they use some thing else, some thing that did actual take place - Germany invaded Belgium, Britain then have been given in touch etc -, to make issues plenty greater helpful? If no longer, then .. it is nearly crossing the line, i think of, considering the fact which you are able to no longer in ordinary terms take history and re-write it to a minimal of a few thing that massive like "oh, the Gods led to it!" BQ: satirically sufficient, i need to be a author yet neither am i able to be arsed looking in the word record (i've got been assembly coursework final dates all day, i'm only too drained, sorry ..) and my vocab. isn't THAT extensive, haha.
