yeah it is ok to remove the temp files from your computer but be aware that if you made setting to your computer recently you may loose them so it is better to remove temp files from internet explorer from choosing tools>internet options>remove all offline content.

and just right click on your hard drive icon and go to properts and just click on disk clean up.

Thease are the best methods to remove all the unused files from your computer.
