I would imagine so.. They grow quite well on the east coast of Australia.. Philippines would be along the same climate as regions of coastal Queensland,,

They do well here in South Florida US about 3 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. Our soil is sandy, and our rainy season is May/June - Oct./Nov.

Don't see why not. Here in South Carolina they are perennials. Beautiful!
