Is Hole's 'Live Through This' a better album than Nirvana's 'Nevermind'? Track for track I believe it is. Does anyone disagree? Quite honestly I'd be surprised if anyone did as the 'Live Through This' is clearly the better record.

Heh heh, I think you'll find that *everyone* will disagree with you. ;)
I would say that Nevermind is probably the better album, but I have more of a connection to Live Through This, it reminds me strongly of people and a time in my life. I'm certainly more fond of it. But I'm not sure about *better*. It's all subjective, so nothing is clear. ;)

I am a huge Nirvana fan, but Nevermind is my least favorite album. So, I'm gonna have to go with you on this one. Live through this is a great album and find myself listening to it more than Nevermind. Now, don't get me wrong, Nevermind has some decent tracts, but I much rather listen to Bleach, Unplugged or In Utero. If you were comparing Live Through This to In Utero, nirvana wins. Good for you, most people can't overlook the commercial success of Nevermind to accurately rate this album based on its own merit. Even Kurt said it was too commercial....

Well I can tell you that back in the day I loved them both the same. I think that Courtney Love just got lucky. I think Nirvana as a whole was a heck of a lot better than Hole. But live thru this was a good album.

I'm surprised that you can even compare them
Hole and Nirvana I mean....Nirvana is far, far, way far superior then Hole anytime. And Nevermind was one of the best albums in the 90's as far as I'm concerned.
