Somebody asking about whether Liverpool was a dangerous place mentioned it and I told him he might've been thinking of the Adelphi.

I don't know how relevant this is, but I go to university up there.

There is the Dolby Hotel chain, and there is also the Aldelphi hotel, niether of them are dangerous places, The Adelphi is nearest to John Moores Uni. Liverpool is no more dangerous than any other city in the world. Does this answer your question ?
