Apparently free speech means you can say whatever you want as long as it could not possibly offend anyone. No that is not quite right. You can offend anyone who does not belong to a couple of specific minority groups but you cannot offend someone who belongs to a minority group. At any rate it is ridiculous.

Free speech means free speech for everyone, especially those that you disagree with. If you do not believe in free speech for those you disagree with you do not believe in free speech.

He said or did nothing illegal, but what he said was morally wrong.

There seems to be a double standard when it comes free speech over racial items in our nation.
