If you want an excuse for a celebration, today, Friday 13Th April, is the first day of the Thai New Year. The celebration known as Songkran. Happy New year to everybody from me. I have lived in Thailand for more than 10 years.

On Friday October 13, 1307 Philip ordered de Molay and rankings of alternative French Templars to be concurrently arrested. The Templars were charged with diverse heresies and tortured to extract pretend confessions of blasphemy. The confessions, inspite of having been obtained less than duress, brought some scandal in Paris. After extra bullying from Philip, Pope Clement then issued the bull Pastoralis Praeeminentiae on November 22, 1307, which prompt all Christian monarchs in Europe to arrest all Templars and grab their sources. They were quite slightly killed and stuff after that too so as that's why.
