can a person go to a good college eventhough there SATs are not really good? can a person still get a good job inthe states eventhough they graduated in some asian country, like the philippines?

Try to do the best you can in whatever school you go to. Try to go to the best school you qualify for. Major in something that leads to a job/career: engineering, accounting, the health fields (besides the obvious there is also chiropractory sciences, eye doctors, nutrition, etc.), nurses are needed all over the world, teaching, public administration. Phillippine people are respected all over the world because of their work ethic. Make sure your spoken and written English is the best you can be. Good luck. There are many Asians that do well in the USA.!
