A little on the sweet side??? I dont know!
I've also heard "they've got sugar in there tank" don't get that either.

Fruit is sweet. We know that girls are made of sugar and spice...and everything nice, so they must be sweet. So, when a man "acts like a girl" he's sweet, much like fruit. He can't be sugary, because women already have sugar and spice held down, so he's a fruit by default. I don't know why cake or toffee, or candy, or even sap got passed up, but fruit is what you get.

Have you ever heard the expression"nutty as a fruit cake"Fruit cakes have nuts and fruit.The word nut means crazy.The fruit by association becomes strange(crazy) Gays are seen as crazy and so are called "fruits".
