Of course! Just like humans act "possessed" when we are happy or excited, animals also run around, grunt, howl, or zip around the house. It's totally normal....and it just shows your animal is happy. However, animals that are deeply distressed or caged may act "possessed" because they truly are going crazy. Hopefully, this is not the case with you.

My pet acts like he is watching TV and barks at Bill O'Reilly whenever he is on..maybe he knows that the spin does not stop here?

Reuben has anger issues. Something just sets him off and he puts his ears back (funny looking if it wasn't for the snarling) and barks at me like he is going to attack.
Nothing will calm him down, but his Mama can take him to the door and chain him outside so I can continue to load the dishwasher, or go to the stairs to go to bed.
