That is most likely a hard drive problem. There are many things that could cause it. Overheating (in which case checking the fan is a good idea and replacing it if need be), or bad sectors (in which case you'll have to do a scan disc or check disk to "mark" the bad sectors).

xD You're right. Sometimes, its the fan inside thats speeding too fast. Like mine, i removed my fan and replaced another one. Just simply remove the fan then buy another one and place it right beside the CPU. You can get one cheapest at $8, alot of money but well...
Another problem could be that because you started a software ( game ) and the CPU have to generate the connectivity and movements, that's why it's making that noise.

You have a heatsink fan (HSF) that automatically adjusts speed depending on temperature. Your processor is at full load and hot during gaming. Unfortunately your type of fan is noisy.
Depending on the space available inside your computer case, you could replace your HSF assembly with better cooling and quiet solutions from Thermalright, Thermaltake, Coolermaster, Scythe, Artic, Noctua, etc. You could also consider improving your case's ventilation with better front intake and rear exhaust fans.

The cpu itself doesn't have any noise because it is IC, and the fan is not affected by process. so i think it is for your hard drive maybe your hard has bad sectors.
Anyway open your case cover ( if it doesn't have any tag) and check your hard and your cpu fan.
