Do you think people will stop supporting the rap artist that sell cd's with that same language?

1.Too late for “******” to stop (like they could) white people from copying their style Ice Baby Ice, Marky Mark, Eminem remember? 2. The question was not about censoring or firing. 3. Thank you for mentioning the flip move because it is ironic that so many people want to make Imus’s ignorance and insensitivity the fault of Black people, the fault should go back to his roots. (see I’m not going to talk about his mother that wouldn’t be right.) 4. The percentage of Black people who listen to rap is probably about 1% of the 7% and of that 1% there are probably 1/4% who listen to the hardcore rap, but society wants to attribute rap to all Black people. 5. Truth be told anytime, anybody gets laughs, and/or pleasure out of degrading someone or listening to someone else do it, there is an deeper psychological problem with both types of individuals. 6. It requires the same thing that happen with Imus, tell the sponsors we’re tired of nastiness! 8. Jon tell Timberlake sexy never left.

Imus, unwittingly, seems to have proven the PMRC right. If you are subjected to a certain type of language over and over again, eventually you become desensitized to it.

Now that jon has made this whole incident or tongue slip the black man's fault, i wonder if any responsibility should go to imus. I guess the majority feels that it should. Only a low sort of being would pick on 7% of the population that happens to be black female..and only a lower than dirt person would pick on them for making it their own fault!

absolutely not, that requires most or all of the people who enjoy rap artist's music to suddenly decide to stop buying and listening. And most of those people have never heard of Imus in their life until last week, or maybe many still don't know who he is/was.

JONBANDIT ----- Although I do not like you refering to people as ******, that is your right as an American, so if your trying to get a rise out of folks, I hope that they don't indulge you.

Anyway, When people start censoring music, we have a real problem. I didn't agree with what Imus said, but I also didn't agree that he should get fired for saying it. That is his right. Jusdt like with music IF YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT YOU HEAR CHANGE THE DIAL.
