PMS happens before or during the menstrual cycle and does not effect pregnant women. Pregnant women can have PMS like symptoms caused by increased hormone production.

I understand your meaning of pms is mood swing? it's almost similar. pregnant woman has mood swing too. pms is caused by the drop of progesterone when nearing the menstrual time. pregnant woman's mood swing is more complicated. It involves hormonal changes plus the body is working very hard to grow and maintain a baby inside her. All the discomfort can cause mood swing too.

early in pregnancy yes but once the brain registers the hormones telling it an egg has been fertilized and a baby is coming it saves the eggs so no more ovulation ..no more pms. basically what birth control pills do

there are no menstrual cycles during pregnancy, so no, no PMS, per se'.

That being said, pregnant women definetly do have mood swings extremely often, and other symptoms that are extremely similar.
