Absolutely no comparison !!! Cat Stevens wrote more intelligent and musicially superior songs than George Michael could ever hope to write.
And they are totally different types of singers. It;s like trying to compare apples to oranges.

Cat Stevens wrote and sung a much higher quality of music than George Michael. His album Tea for the Tillerman is a classic and songs like Wild World and Oh Very Young are just a few of his hit songs.
Note: I've noticed that everyone who says Cat Stevens is getting a thumbs down! What's up with that?
